Slow Movement Group is held on Wednesdays at 3:00 p.m. Join us for some slow rhythmic exercise and guided meditation.

Begins Wednesday, September 10th

 

 

 

Drumming Circle Group for all ages is meeting on the first Thursday of each month, at 7 p.m. We will begin with some introductory instructions on drumming and conclude with a period of drumming. Basic percussion instruments will be provided. Participants may bring their own drums. Community Crop Walk

On Sunday, October 12th STCCC is sponsoring our annual community Crop Walk. Registration begins at 1:30 p.m. at Old Springfield United Church of Christ. The walk starts at 2 p.m. and goes about 3 miles. Sponsor forms are available from any of the Township churches. Money raised will go into STCCC Food Fund which funds the Food Give A Way on the third Saturdays of each month and emergency food through Sparkle Market.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Bazaar and Spaghetti Dinner

On Saturday, October 18th we will hold annual Bazaar and Spaghetti Dinner. The Bazaar begins at 9 a.m. and will have hand crafted items, items from Kenya Mission, a white elephant sale, and Chinese Auction.

Lunch is served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Soups, sandwiches, pies, cakes, tea, coffee, and lemonade.

The Spaghetti Diner begins serving at 4:30 and goes to 7 p.m.

Money raised will go to fund our ramp project that will provide access to our downstairs Fellowship Hall and will be matched by Thrivendt.

 

Fall Healing Service

On Wednesday, October 15th at 7 p.m. we will offer our Fall Healing Service. This service is based upon Service of the Word out of Evangelical Lutheran Worship and includes readings, prayers, laying on of hands and anointing of oil for healing. Join us for this meaningful service. Remember you can receive anointing and laying on of hands either on the second Sunday of each month following worship or by request.
