Lutherans act out their relationship with God through Mission Activities

We support Springfield Township Council of Churches

Springfield Township Council of Churches (STCCC) is made up of the local churches who cooperate together on issues facing our community of Springfield  Township and New Middletown. Jointly we work together to strengthen the  lives of the people of our area as well as make a joint witness to what  God has done in Jesus as we live into the reign of God.

Together we support a feeding program on the third Thursday of each month that is sited at Freedom Church. The hours for distribution are 11 a.m to 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.-8 p.m.

Together  we support a school supply give-away at the Elementary School and the  Intermediate School during the open House times at the beginning of each  school year.

Together we support an annual clothing give-away held at Zion Lutheran Church in May and September.

Together we ring the bell at the Red Kettle for  our local Salvation Army unit to give assistance to our local families  for rents and utilities during the five Saturdays before Christmas at  our local stores.

Together we offer an annual Thanksgiving Service on a rotating basis each year.

Together  we support our General Fund to provide emergency assistance to people  of the community with their rent, utilities, and other emergencies.

  We support Luther's Table
